Hell
#11
RE: Hell
Yes, there's a place called hell, it's for all who have sin that's not forgiven. Hell has nothing to do with good works done or not done. Hell is a separation of those that have sin not forgiven, from God and the perfect sinless new creation and those who chose to be a part of what God offered.
I do not see hell as a place of torment by fire, hell is described as a dark place. Hell fire is the worst thing we can imagine, being without God's love is actually far worse than hell's fire, it's not something we can comprehend because until the judgement no one could understand what it's like to be without His love. The torment that scriptures speak of is God allowing people who did not want to be a part of God's future plan to suffer over their choice. They will get to rant, rave, and curse in anger at God, forever and ever, they lived their lives in denial of God, and they will live forever knowing that God is real, His promises are true, and those that chose Christ are living in a true Paradise. Before anyone ask how will God deal with those who did not get a chance to hear of Christ, all I can say, it will be on an individual bases of their lives and what they actually believe.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Wow Godschild, you are really lucky that you chose the right religion from thousands that exist today. You would be even luckier if you were raised in that true religion or even your parents were! That would be awesome luck!

There was no luck to it, my parents were raise in the Baptist denomination, my grandparents were and as far as I know so were my great grandparents, so I guess you can deduce that I was too. God said He would bless those who were truly His, so from great grandparents to grandparents to parents to myself and my sister and her children to their children, God has bless this family for it's dedication to Him. Now this reaches throughout all denominations, so I was not making special the Baptist denomination.

greasy sophistry to get around the fact that god is the one who PLACES you into hell.

Own your own religion Gchild, don't pussy-foot around it. Your narcissistic god doesn't just merely offer some kind of escort into hell. The Bible clearly says that he CASTS you into hell. It's bull shit that you and your filthy apologist friends try to wriggle out of what your book actually says. Your god openly brags about CASTING people into hell, and I know many christians who think Hell IS INDEED a fiery place of unending torment. Your signature says it all. Your god don't give a shit about anyone but himself and a casual stroll through hell shows that.

So you're continuing to worshiping what your family chose as their denomination. Please tell me, yes or no, if you were raised let's say in ancient Greece do you think that you would insist that Hellenistic religion is the right one?

I do not worship a denomination, I worship God, I choose to worship as a Southern Baptist because I've been exposed to other denominations and find things in them that do not set right with me. I do not believe everything that the Southern Baptist Church supports either, but the SBC Fits best what I believe scripture says.
I'm not going to give you a yes, no answer to a question that could never happen, I was born when and where I was and have lived my life in these days.

Why are you afraid to answer? It's like asking what would you do if you could fly or won $100 million.

I'm not afraid to answer, you asked for a yes or no answer, so the question could not be like the two you have here, there is no yes or no to them. Since I can not fly or have won $100 million, why should I wonder what I would do. Living is better than dreaming of what will not happen, that's why I've chosen Christ, to live for now and forever.

I think you are afraid. Afraid to realize that you would most likely worship those gods your whole life being 100 percent certain that they are real or be atheist/agnostic.

You're quite welcome to think what you want, doesn't change a thing though.
