Maths test
Try this puzzle. This maths sequence can predict your favourite film. Mine was Star Wars. Not sure how it works, but it does...

Pick a number between 1-9.
Multiply by 3.
Add 3 to that number.
Multiply again by 3.
Add the two digits together.

3. Oliver Twist.

4. Star Wars.

5. Forrest Gump.

6. Saving Private Ryan.

7. Jaws.

8. Grease.

9. The Joy of Anal Sex with Male Sheep and Leather Clad, Oiled Up Lady Boys.

10. Mary Poppins.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Yeah, you know whats great about that - I was really hoping to get it too...

I love these things.
(there are a bunch of good illusions based upon this btw)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

RE: Maths test
Numerology does it again
I choose 1.... *3 = 3 + 3 = 6 *3 = 18, 1+8 = 9
I choose 2.... *3 = 6 + 3 = 9 *3 = 27, 2+7 = 9
I choose 3.... *3 = 9 + 3 = 12 *3=36, 3+6 = 9
I choose 4.... *3 = 12 + 3 = 15*3=45, 4+5 = 9
I choose 5.... *3 = 15 + 3 = 18*3=54, 5+4 = 9
I choose 6.... *3 = 18 + 3 = 21*3=63, 6+3 = 9
I choose 7.... *3 = 21 + 3 = 24*3=72, 7+2 = 9
I choose 8.... *3 = 24 + 3 = 27*3=81, 8+1 = 9
I choose 9.... *3 = 27 + 3 = 30*3=90, 9+0 = 9

I choose n, (n*3+3)*3 = 9n+9 = 9*(n+1), and so you get the multiplication table of 9, shifted by one place
9*2 = 18
9*3 = 27
9*4 = 36
9*5 = 45
9*6 = 54
9*7 = 63
9*8 = 72
9*9 = 81
9*10=90

Now... how on Earth did you get 4 as the result?!

RE: Maths test
Would work just as well, if you didn't add the 3 in there... but it's a nice touch to keep the loonies distracted.
