You need to know your location and the target location directions related to yours (i.e. a map)

Yeah, the eels have nothing to guide them [end sarcasm]

Geomagnetic map.

So, basically what you are doing is putting your ignorance on a pedestal and calling it 'God'.

Nice going!

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Geomagnetic map.
Whatever you bring, it will need external data!

I should another option that

No, I guess you did not read my post. They are learn and remember their way back from point of origin. No external data need.

Really. Why is that? Because you say so? Because it's convenient for your argument?

As I recall, Dragonetti posted a decent description of one method that humans use to return to a point of origin without ever knowing where one is located, or without a map - using nothing but observations about one's surroundings.

As I was trained to utilize the same exact technique in the military, I can attest that it works.

Oh, external data like the two articles I posted yesterday, that lay out in detail how animals use magnetism to navigate without the need for an external force? The two articles you're ignoring now, because the facts are inconvenient to the dishonest, shoddy and lazily defended narrative you're half-heartedly trying to defend?

Maybe you should go back to school, fucker.
