I thought it was. Tongue Then again...I think that about most things, including theoretical physics and pizza. Complex isn't the same as hard to understand, it just takes longer to appreciate.

Perhaps the subject addressed by the book is complex, rather than the book itself? The book is certainly not complex. Its message is obvious as soon as you read the title.

I did not read it when I was still a Christian, and I doubt I would have agreed with the premise if I hadn't already been a slipping agnostic by the time I did.

Did I say that you were stupid? I did not... I only said that it's not particularly complicated (there isn't much to parse). Were I to compare it to video games: it would not be Dwarf Fortress... but Civilization. The only thing unfortunate is that you apparently don't realize this... hence the 'you're just starting' comment.

Prefer simple things with enormous depth, myself.
