The Taliban. They use Islam to control people (both men and women), but they also are dead set against women being educated, being seen, and promote unbalanced laws that persecute women.

This thread is about Islam not actions of some Muslims

There is no reference in Islam saying not to educate women
However Islam doesn't treat women as men
Islam is not about equality it is about Justice

For example a woman inherits half the share of a man (if a parent dies for example)
Do you think that Islam persecute women by this law?

I think a person should inherit whatever is left to them. Whether they have a penis or not, doesn't even enter the equation. So if a woman gets less, simply because she lacks a penis, then yes, that is unequal treatment. How is this "justice," since women are the ones left raising the kids in the event of a husband's death? Why should she inherit less than the man's brother? Or should she marry the brother as well? That's rather demeaning and treating her like property rather than a partner.

Good luck finding enough people who've read the Koran... You're going to get a lot of examples like the one I gave, rather than Sura numbers and verses.

Fucking 9 years old girls. The fact, that woman have NO rights to their children. The fact, that daughters are treated as property and can be "sold". The fact, that if women is raped SHE is "responsible". Want me to go on?

Presumption of Equality is the broadest and most important pillar of enlightened justice.

List and discuss: the ways in which the Koran is worth less for purpose of enlightenment than the toilet paper it is written on.

I'm not sure on the difference. Are you saying equality is not conducive to 'justice'? Justice for what?

Why don't men wear burkhas?
Why does a woman need a male chaperone?

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

It gives husbands the right to beat their wives if they fear rebellion from their wives.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.
