Hi everyone.

I'm an undergrad in Toronto studying pharmacology and spend most of my time either at school, doing research, or working at some part-time job. Grew up in a country where shariah law applies to muslims, and was a christian and believed in creation and all that. Then I went to university and read a book on evolution and decided that creation is a myth and a god shouldn't be able to get away with saying that his book is just a metaphor. That's my deconversion in a nutshell.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Pharmacology is so interesting! (I'm studying to become a pharmacist Tongue)
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way?
