Yeah me too. But most of the dumbasses in Starke will think that the monument will attract Satan's attention to their town, so it must be eliminated. The last thing you want is Satan running around your town with a pitchfork and what not.

Well the monument's unveiling was done so with a crowd of idiots waving confederate flags [cuz that makes sense, right?] and one guy started jumping up and down on the monument before the sealing had set, which led to concern that the monument was damaged. It turned out it hadn't, the sealing had set enough that it withstood it, but the fact that they attempted it and were screaming a bunch of hateful diatribe is a pretty typical example of your average Christian's love, tolerance, and acceptance...

I'm pretty sure the monument has been insured, so if it gets damaged, it'll be easy to repair/replace.
