This confused me. I clearly remember being attracted to girls a long time before I went through puberty. So I would like to post a poll to see if I'm just weird.
I remember distinctly being attracted to a long haired blonde girl when I was about 6-7, (in UK education i was in 2nd year of infants).
And I remember fancying winnona ryder from beatlejuice (I think she was 17 as an actress in the film) when I was too young to know what I wanted to do with her. This pretty much paved the way for how I fancied goth girls in later life.
Oh and I'm male, and I like females still now just to clarify.

There are studies that show children entering puberty at an earlier age these days. Very true.
I had a concusion when I was 8. Later on in life though when all my friends were sprouting up, getting hairer, and their voices were getting deeper, I wasn't doing any of those things.
The doctors found out I had zero growth hormones in my body. So at the age of 14 I had to start taking daily shots of this synthetic growth hormone called Humatrope.
After I started taking those shots is when I went through puberty. I went from being 5'4" at 14 to 6'1" at 16 along with all the other secondary sexual characteristics.
At 16 I stopped taking the shots. So I was a late bloomer as they say due to I fucked my brain up with the concusion somehow.
I cracked my face when it happened. Just a hairline fracture but my right eye still aches like a motherfucker when a coldfront blows in, in the middle of the night.
I'm still of the firm belief that sexual attraction only greatly increases with puberty, not that it begins with puberty. Either that or I'm just the oddball out.

I think this explains me, too. I remember clearly staying at a babysitter's house one night. She had two daughters, maybe 8 and 10. I think I was 9. Both slim blondes. I remember getting to see them in their pajamas that night. The babysitter and I had the TV on, and bothy girls came out with us in the living room. One was in a nightgown and the other in a pink onesie (pajamas with feet  hock  . Somehow that got my heart slamming into overdrive. I didn't understand what was going on. I do remember pretending to watch the TV and shifting my eyes toward the girls several times for a glimpse.
Looking back, it must have been a sexual reaction, but I had no way of realizing it at the time.

I had lots of crushes on different girls from about 6. That the earliest I can remember right now anyway. I also was attracted to female voices strongly.

I had crushes on girls as young as 3 or 4, and I had sexual fantasies starting at the age of 6 (although I did not know how to interpret them at all.)

the idea that sexual orientation is determined at birth has no concrete evidence, it is a very far fetched idea.
sexual attraction is chemically explained in hormones and unless you were subjected to some kind of psychological manipulation those fantasies just don't make sense and i dont believe your testimony.
something i have seen is that people say 'sexual orientation is something determined at birth it's just the way you are' and that is a psychological attack and lie that can really screw someone up.. good to see all the little tricks tho!

My attraction was psychological, but I had sexual instincts. When I played Barbie, Barbie rolled around naked with her female "friend" while kissing her quite often. It doesn't matter if you believe me, it happened.

fair enough, and possibly you began to hit puberty at age 6, ok fine..
but do you see the point im making how it can be damaging to someone who is unsure of their newly experienced sexual urges to be told that they are either gay or straight from birth and thats it thats all?? theres no proof of that, some studies suggest but no proof.

I didn't hit puberty until I was I was 11 or 12 years old.
Many studies suggest that people are born gay or straight. It's generally agreed upon by experts in related fields.
