knowledge is a big word, your using it the way that religious ppl do. i like my definition of the word knowledge to involve the concept of irrefutable proof. that's because im an intellectual and reason based person.

If you were an intellectual and rational person, you'd realize that defining knowledge on basis of irrefutable proof is something religious people do. In science, there is no such thing as irrefutable proof - only reasonable certainty. Clearly, you are the one using it the way religious do - not me.

Yes and yes.

You can see it by the fact that they consider their holy books to be irrefutable proof of god's existence. And when faced with arguments against their gods their usual reply is "if you can't know it with 100% certainty, then you don't know it".

None. No compromise. Either a god does exist or it doesn't. Regardless of beliefs, there is no middle ground on that. Ultimately, one side is wrong and the other is right and there can be no compromise between the two.
