Words you wish existed

RE: Words you wish existed
My friend came up with the word 'foobs', fantastic boobs Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

When my brother was little a butterfly flew past him and he said "Oh look - a flutterby" which seems to me to be a much better word for it than the original.

Priested - a verb to denote sexual abuse of a child by a Catholic priest. "Be careful in the confessional, Timmy, you don't want to get priested."

*edit* Apparently I'm not the first one to use the word "priest" to denote sexual abuse: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=priested

Conservatard - A conservative who is so incredibly fanatically conservative in their beliefs and willfully ignorant that they constantly say incredibly stupid things. "Ann Coulter, Pat Robertson, and Rush Limbaugh are major conservatards."

Frubulous. I don't have a meaning for it. I just like saying it.

You just reminded me of my favorite poem.

"Jabberwocky"

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! and through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
Everything I needed to know about life I learned on Dagobah.

I wish "funner" was a word to describe something that is more fun some other thing.

You would be perfectly fine in using "funner." It's a valid form in many dialects of English.
