Ironic that after so many months I still cannot truly cope with a friend being gone forever, such is the imperfection of the human brain.

The time that's passed is just a brief moment compared to how long coping with the death of someone close to you can take. It might take years, but the important thing is to not get discouraged that it isn't over quickly.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Welcome Nightfoot. Sorry you had to experience the shooting. Horrible thing.

My dead grandfather's last brother was gunned down in church along with several other people back when I was a kid. It was the first funeral I ever went to.

Sick fuckers everywhere. Pardon my french. 14? I gotta watch my language.

I do not care for expletives that express emotion. Why they are considered bad is because conservative find the words bad. Bully used to be like motherfucker is today. Eventually a new generation sprung up, used it normally, and the old conservatives died. And thus, bully became an official part of English. For that reason, swear words really don't affect me. Don't get what all the hubbub is about how offensive it is. :/ sorry for your grandfather. I get what you feel like, I really do.
