On the other hand, I enjoy walking as much as I hate running. I go on a long walk about every night.

Went for a 6 mile run today, and it was great. Hope everyone in this thread is still keeping up with their runs Heart

I did six miles on the treadmill today, was aiming for eight but my foot started hurting.

Six miles on the treadmill probably felt like eight. lol I hate treadmill running so much respect for those who stick to it.  Cool

I couldn't run anymore at all if it weren't for treadmills, personally.  I miss actually going somewhere, but my knee appreciates the give the ground doesn't have when my foot falls, lol.

I'm still around, but I'm not running as much as I used to. I try to do 2-3 runs/week but that's about it. I'm struggling a bit with motivation, unfortunately.

You look like you're doing well, though. Good work, keep it up! Smile

Maybe ''reporting'' back to the thread will keep you motivated.  Big Grin

RE: Running
I ran in the military enough to learn that running sucks. I road raced sport bikes for about seven years after the military and still needed to keep in shape so I took up cycling instead. It’s far more enjoyable to cycle for 30 or 40 miles than to run for three or four miles. It’s also a lot easier to cycle away from a territorial dog in someone’s front yard on a back country road than it is to outrun it.

I started jogging again, but my left foot and lower back are in pain right now. I need to take days off between working out, which will make the weight loss take longer. But, oh well.
