Interesting. Why not just implement a feature that stops you from being able to ignore a mod.
Or would that interfere with "free will"?

If it could be deployed as a plugin, that would work. If it couldn't, I doubt we'd want to do that as it would interfere with applying official updates / upgrades.
In any case, it's not something that comes up often enough to warrant putting much work into it.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
