This thread is making me realize how much more mainstream it is nowadays to lack religion or belief in fairy tales. Gives me the warm fuzzies Smile

Awesome!

A lot of British programs are mentioned as well as House and it made me remember a wonderful show.

Black Adder!

It was beautifully done and Hugh Laurie from House starred in it.

I forget if it deserves to belong on this list, but I have the complete series on DVD, so it gives me an excuse to watch them all over again.

How about The Flintstones?

I was not allowed to watch it when I was a kid.

I wonder why not?

I think they told me it was because it portrayed a poor marriage.

And my mother bossing my father around and my father smacking us silly wasn't?

Anyway...

List so far...

3 Stooges - Classic!
Babylon 5 - Never tried it.
Benny Hill - Classic!
Big Bang Theory - Never missed an episode.
Bones - - Never tried it.
Breaking Bad - Never tried it.
Dexter - Never tried it.
Doctor Who - Older episodes are classic! Never tried the newer ones.
Game of Thrones - Never tried it.
House - Good show, but for some reason I did not stick with it.
Knight Rider - Classic!
Macgyver - Never tried it. Duct tape and rubber bands are cool though.
Monty Python - Classic!
Penn & Teller's Bullshit! - Never tried it.
Sherlock Holmes - I thoroughly enjoy the original TV show.
Star Trek - Classic!
The A-Team - Classic!

Welcome aboard! The kudos is for preferring the classic, proper Doctor Who over the Nu-Who pantomime.

I'm shocked, though, that QI isn't on the list. Make amends immediately or I'll have to do unspeakable things to you.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I am quite interested in what you were to do to me, but...

Quite Interesting (QI) - Never tried it, but it looks quite interesting.

P.S. Love the picture of the scary dude from Poltergeist. It resembles someone that is posting some odd mumbo-jumbo on these forums recently.

That'd be me, probably..!

You can find clips and whole episodes of QI and probably most of the rest of the list on Youtube. Look out for QI XL, the extended edits of the original broadcast episodes. Also look out for the epidode subtitled "Flora and Fauna" - I'm in the audience of that one (the camera gives two cracking shots of me right at the end. Obviously you need to know what I look like to get the proper effect, but still).

I've just thought of another classic for the list, as well: Father Ted.

Father Ted is amazing. I might just spend tonight watching it - haven't done that in a while.

Welcome new guy!

Is television where you are really that bad? We don't have that issue in the UK at all - in fact I feel a tiny bit sorry for the theists in the country when I watch tv.

Good suggestions on the list. You can also just change the channel away from "Revelation tv" Smile
Any spelling mistakes are due to my godlessness!
