RE: The Second Coming
It's an awesome Drama Series. I recommend it too. And the end is suprising. Great series. Christopher Eccleston stars.

There's a sample from the series, in the Orbital song You Lot actually Tongue

RE: The Second Coming
haha I agree with Tiberius. They just didn't feel like going past 2012 b/c there was no more room left on that huge calendar. The 2012 rumors are stupid.

What should go out to those people back then that predicted events happening during our time?
Like prediction of disasters... just coincidence?

RE: The Second Coming
I still remember the Y2K freakout so I expect to see people acting weird around 2012 much like they did right before 2000. People amuse me!

I had a sunday school teacher who was preparing for Y2K by purchasing mass quantities of food and canning it all up. I told him I had all the preparation I need...

RE: The Second Coming
Whats with a second coming anyway?

Its like a builder making a start on a project saying 'I'll be back to finish that in a bit'.

2000 years later, where is that builder.

When do you say 'I don't think he's coming back'

RE: The Second Coming
I saw this (Second Coming) when it was orginally aired, and had talked about it for years. To my great surprise I caught it on a cable channel a couple of months ago, and was made up that it was every bit as good as I remembered. Great concept, great script and excellent ending. I'd highly recommend it. Generally speaking, anything with Chris Eccleston is worth a watch.

Also, I think Russell T Davies is a fully paid up atheist and has written on this subject on a few occasions.

RE: The Second Coming
All the fanatics running around and screaming and waving their hands in the air will be amusing, and perhaps profitable. Anyways, I have a neighbor who goes down to the local gravel pits where people shoot stuff (as opposed to paying to get into the shooting range), and he picks up all the spent shells and refills them and puts them in his shed, and never uses them. He isn't trying to prepare for the end of the world or any bullshit like that, he just stockpiles ammo, its a bit creepy, his little gardening shed filled with thousands of rounds of ammo.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
