Im going through some similar stuff with the family Labrador. He's 14, just had a nasty stroke, and has trouble walking. He knows the end is near but he's fighting it so hard...

The hardest part about adding a pet to your family. I'm with pappy though.

This makes me remember when my good old dog died a few years ago- she was 17, and I had had her for my whole adult life. I cried for (embarrassingly) months. I am thinking of you and Pepper.

I find it difficult to absorb feelings through IRC, considering how I am built, the neutrality of text, and having attended my younger sister's funeral when I was in kindergarten. I no longer feel towards death,

but if someone is hurting as a result of someone's death, I do feel for them. That is why I never post in response of obituary posts. Just throwing that out there for the next obituary.

Shitty news there. My Belgium Shepherd is 15 and hanging on but I can't imagine she has too long left.

Every healthy day at this age is a plus. 15 is not a bad age for a dog. You did well.

Are you doing it yourself or taking her to a vet. Either way is hard and was through it with a dog I varied home in my arms. Be strong my friend.
