An interesting view from Isaac Newton on prophecy

An interesting view from Isaac Newton on prophecy
Recently it has come out in the places I go that Newton came up with a different take on the 70 7s of the Book of Daniel.
The drift I got is, since the time was expressed as composed of two blocks of years, that the time to the coming of Messiah would be from 2 different commands to restore Jerusalem.

A snip of Jim Bramlett's article - (for educational purposes, but I know Jim won't mind anyway)-
Newton's understanding of one key passage in Daniel chapter 9 is fundamentally different from that of most common interpretations. In about 550 B.C., God gave the prophet Daniel a view of history to the end. From Daniel 9:25, scholars usually add the "seven weeks (of years, or 49 years) and 62 weeks (434 years)" to get 483 years and calculate the time of Messiah's First Coming. However, Newton says there is no linguistic basis for adding those two numbers (49 and 434), and to do so is "doing violence to the language of Daniel." Newton says the two numbers separately speak of both the First and Second Coming, both being counted from the "going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem." Some commentators agree.

Now we know the first block of time was fulfilled from the decree of Artaxes in 457 BC and culminated 483 years later with Jesus baptisim.

But following the idea of Newton, another decree and block of time was future. This leads us to the decision to rebuild Jerusalem following the 1967 war June 7th. 7 "Weeks" of years (7X7= 49yrs.) brings us to exactly Sept 23 2015 and the Feast of Atonement (again using 360 day yrs- like in the previous block).
We only have a bit of time left to see if Isaac was right.
Here is some more conjecture, for anyone interested-

Aristotel believed that flies only had 4 legs.

Guess why no one defends that claim anymore?

When people who happen to make grand discoveries also waste their time on useless stuff, it is the grand discovery that counts and not all the other other stuff.
