How about all the anti-gunners donate to a non-profit organization to buy guns from gun owners (for destruction)? I think Bloomberg and Soros could easily seed that fund. Big Grin

I may have missed something on that "Bloomberg and Soros" reference... Sad

Those two are very wealthy men who are actively anti private firearm ownership.

Quote:Yes, it's the taxpayer that has to pay... of course... anything country-wide must be implemented with tax-payers money.... it's the same everywhere.

It was the taxpayer who allowed people to own those guns in the first place.

What does that mean? It was the Constitution that did that.

Quote:It's the taxpayer who finances many gun factories... sounds like a futile waste of money, doesn't it?

The taxpayer funds which gun factories? Do you mean military arms?
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.

Now, for some "unbiased" stats: http://rt.com/usa/us-children-gunshot-wounds-846/

Quote:The number of US children and teenagers who died after sustaining gunshot wounds – mostly from handguns - jumped by nearly 60 percent in a decade, according to new findings.

In addition, around 7,500 children are hospitalized annually after being injured by gunfire, a figure that increased by more than 80 percent from 1997 to 2009.

The findings were presented at a conference of the American Academy of Pediatrics, held in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.

It was estimated that eight out of every 10 gunshot casualties were caused by handguns, according to medical data reviewed by the doctors. The doctors then offered their opinion on the current gun debate, saying the national conversation should reflect the danger posed by handguns, as opposed to efforts to revoke the availability of semi-automatic rifles.

Quote: The number of US kids and teens who die from gunshot wounds in hospital has risen almost 60% in a decade, according to a new report. The study by two doctors looked at data from 1997 to 2009, and found the number of those hospitalized with gunshot wounds rose from 4,270 to 7,730, while the number of those that then died from them climbed from 317 to 503, NBC News reports.

D'uh. Gee what a surprise. Actually it IS a surprise because of the fucking NRA and their asshole pals in Congress....

Of course Congress stopped funding it, or else Americans might want them to do something about all the gun violence in contrast to their being in bed with the NRA.
