Not in the slightest (though human males might more often do so than human females) Smile There are people who won't do that... but they are not necessarily guys... and most people just ask for directions anyway. Smile

Most guys avoid asking for directions but I don't. I have no problem with asking people for directions...

I haven't witnessed this behavior in my life (Except in the case of my father)... so either the guys are different where I live (which i doubt), or the stereotype isn't so prevalent as some think Smile (Or a shocking third possibility... I just know all of the guys that this doesn't effect ^_^)

My genitalia seems to say I'm a guy, but the feelings in me are female and I love the color pink! ha ha just kidding, well I do love the color pink in certain places. Wink

It seems that men just prefer not to seek help in most cases which can be used to model our behavior and make predictions about how we might behave given certain circumstances. It has been my experience that men don't ask for directions as soon as women although both genders will seek help given a long enough timeline. It makes no sense to wait to ask for directions when you are lost so I adopted the behavior of asking for directions ASAP because it makes sense.

Yes indeed it makes sense Smile Which is why a guy would have to be nonsensical to not ask directions Tongue I agree that males might have a propensity to dislike having to ask for directions initially (or even for a slightly extended time)... but people in general consider wether they need directions or not... and then usually decide to ask for them if they aren't certain they know where they are going Smile
