That was the impression I got as I looked at the other stories. It's a clever demonstration of Poe's Law, in that you read the various stories and keep thinking "it's too ridiculous to be true, but on the other hand..."

I don't, but it hurts our credibility when we point at an article written in satire and say "Look at how crazy those Christians are!" Of course, they make it so easy to mistake satire for reality.

According to one pastor I know, sex in marriage should only ever be gentle, slow, and boring. During a sermon he once paralleled his description with the scene in Dances With Wolves® where Kevin Costner is boning (paraphrase) his new bride while her father stands there in the room wearing a fur parka. I approached him after the sermon and I asked which part was more holy, the slow movements, or the fur-covered voyeuristic father in the room with them. To this day, when my wife gives me a bedroom cue I ask her, "Should we invite your dad and tell him to wear his pimp coat?" Good times
