Trolling is where a person makes a deliberately provocative posting with the aim of inciting an angry response, and is not allowed. As discussions can at times get heated, not all provocative posts will get classed as trolling. However, if a member is found to be making multiple such posts, or appear to only be using the forum to provoke people, they will be in violation of this rule.
For some reason, I read this, closed my eyes, and I saw a batman derp avatar...

I'm so happy I wont have to worry about getting in trouble for preaching Bible verses at the theists anymore Big Grin
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

If you need a synopsis: Don't be an arse, discuss instead. It's really not that hard to comprehend Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Except...half of Minimalist's posts are him being an arse with no discussion. Call me a skeptic but I'm guessing that's not going to change.

Can't troll trolls if you're a troll

Still thousands of times better than any christian forum out there. But you don't like it? The exit door of this forum charges no fee from going trough.

Its OK, you like to whine, its indeed a very christian trait. Cool Shades

If everything were merely at the mod's discretion, how do you explain how you haven't been banned yet?

I don't know about that - theologyonline used to be pretty good.

I've made it clear before and now reiterate that the owners of a site have every right to do with it as they please. Just interesting that you go through the charade of rules which really amount to nothing.

No, I don't like to whine. Do you realize why I report posts?

Once someone complained about me. I noted that I was tame compared to some atheist posters. Then Tiberius (IIRC - if not a mod) suggested that it was odd that I complain, as I had never filed a formal complaint with the mods.

So, now I occasionally report a post to the mods, as that's apparently necessary to maintain a right to make casual complaints.

Mods aren't stupid, and realize the value of opposing viewpoints to the success of a forum. As one atheist put it, if you get rid of the Christians, you're left with an atheist circle-jerk.
