Bank Chief Methodist Minister Caught Buying Meth & Cocaine...
He is/was also head of one of the UK's most historic and famous banks; The Co-operative. (Started by workers in the 19th century to be an organisation that represents the interests of workers and is run by the workers - deemed as more ethical than other banks in some people's eyes):

Literally you couldn't make this up. The guy knew next to nothing about banking (he was recently summoned to appear in front of a Common's select committee because the bank had been nose diving into the ground) evidenced by the fact he didn't even know the difference between a balance sheet and a cash flow! It was a painful watch I can tell you.

Yes the story is from the Daily Wail but it's a legit story. The guy is under investigation by banking authorities and the police. He even sent texts to friends saying he was out of his head on meth!

"Flowers used to chair the drugs charity Lifeline, whose motto is ‘telling the truth about drugs". Made me chuckle.

Lol. An interesting story to read up on after a long day at work yesterday I can tell you.

EDIT: This can probably be moved to the News section as opposed to the religion section if folk wish for that.

So? His private life is his private life. Nothing to do with his job.

I here he's moving to Toronto. They need a mayor apparently.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

So being a meth addict who doesn't know how to run a bank (or even what money is, seemingly) doesn't kind of impact on his job?

What about how his behaviors/actions affect the jobs of those he's responsible for? You know, the thousands of Co-OP staff members and indeed customers that rely on a steady ship for an income?

How many meth addicts who don't know anything about even basic finances do you know who can run a bank? Sorry that's unfair, let me rephrase; hold a job per se?

There was a lot of porn found on his work PC apparently, but nothing about hookers being hired for a romp in the exec toilet.

I mean, he is/was a Methodist minister after all. He wouldn't do something like that.
