There was a space of time between the shot, and the bang... which is REALLY weird... The bang would have occurred before the bullet fired out of the gun... so it should have happened in reverse to be honest

'shoots' can include the act of aiming the gun... which was what I meant... *shoot*(as in aim, get ready to fire, pull trigger) *bang*(interrupts shooting process with actual sound produced)

??? the bang is the 'shoot' part of the process. The other parts were the aim, brace, and squeeze/pull. The explosion (the bang) IS the reason that the gun discharged anything at all

Obviously you misconstrued my intention when using the term 'shoot'. 'Shoot' doesn't necessarily imply 'bang' - that is unless you can provide irrefutable proof of your claim.

Well, what kind of gun+ammo did you shoot him with then? And if the *bang* came after the shot: then what the hell made the bang when you shot yourself in the head?

Shoot has to imply *bang* if you used a gunpowder weapon (or other explosive) to discharge the ammunition.

I offer no explanations for anything 'as an atheist'.That's because there is no such thing as 'an atheist position' on ANY subject other than the non existence of god. .

Perhaps go away and have a look at "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, or far better "Why I Am Not A Christian" by Bertrand Russel.

You're conflating 'shot' with 'shoot'. I clearly only said 'shoot' and now you're trying to sneak 'shot' in by the side window. 'Shoot', as I originally postulated, implies 'aim, pull trigger, fire' and does not immediately leap to the posteriori 'shot'. *bang*, is a happy intermediary to the process *shoot* I would suggest.
