Why Should Someone Be an Atheist?
RE: Why Should Someone Be an Atheist?
Wow, I never even thought to check that Bucky.

Some of his last posts there were... interesting to say the least. I wonder if we can look forward to the same here at some point. Angel

This is my evidence.

Infinitely many more UN-caused virtual particles come and go every nano-second, but you are ignorant of science, so yeah, your god of the gaps would seem your only out. You said the numbers don't matter, but you're always spouting numbers (trilllions and trillions). Your evidence is not evidence. Some things are caused, some are not. You never told us how Causality was caused if your deity was the initiator of Reality, and the principle of Causality had not been caused yet. Actually your deity is said to "exist". That means it is REQUIRED to *participate* in Reality. Obviously a deity who MUST participate in reality didn't cause it. Reality HAD to be in place already, if your god always existed. Did your god cause itself, and the very reality in which it lives ? Meaningless drivel. Causality requires time. Asserting "creation" before space-time, is meaningless, (without Special Pleading). Is your god "alive" ?

What a compliment the TTA folk have come here to exercise their free speech option away from the forum that banned savewheat.

Was that supposed to make some sort of sense ? Many of us have been in both places for a while. We have free speech everywhere. He is an annoying troll going on about atheists and suicide. People who abuse forum rules and spam, (as he did from day one) give up the right to free speech. WTF are YOU doing here Pussy Cat IRC ? You actually think you're going to convert someone ?

Therefore, nature needs a cause outside of itself, outside of time and space, being uncreated.

It did. When you die and become nothing, you exit time-space and thus become what is. The process is continuous.

Imagine you travel at the speed of light outside our galaxy, then your life-support ends and you die. Where do you go? Do you stay trapped out there forever? Of course not, because when you die you exit time space, so it matters not where you are and for how long you are. Get it?

The point of life is to find a way not to die while you're still alive and still got a chance. Then if you die, it means the conditions that arised were not favorable enough to sustain life and so the universe tries again...as we speak, there's an infinity of Universes trying and trying and there surely is a place where there's no such thing as death.

There are tons of planets that don't support life and are a failure, maybe Earth is a failure among planets sustaining life. Maybe life isn't meant to end. Maybe you've got it all wrong all along. Maybe all this religion appeared as a poor attempt to explain the unexplainable: Why we have to die. Maybe we don't. Maybe we are a failure and you got no clue whatsoever. None of us do.

It was the post-after-post part and the refusal to actually answer a question or discuss.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

But you do admit that he was trolling by spamming the same thing over and over again. (Spamming is against the rules btw!)
