Imagine this:There are more atheists who have read the bible than atheists who have not, and there are less christians who have read the bible than those who have not. If you're still a christian AFTER reading the bible(with an open mind, something christians, and most theists lack), then you should become skeptic and begin to question religion afterwards. Once you begin that process, you'll most likely become a deist, then an agnostic, and finally, an atheist. My final form is awesome. You should try it out. Us atheists have a personal relationship with reality, and we accept things for what they are. We don't answer god when there's something we can't explain. No, the republican party was the one that abolished slavery. Why any slave owner would become a republican is beyond me. In fact, Lincoln was a religious skeptic.

The majority of sects of Christianity often do preach and try to live lives of love and acceptance, but many people find it hard to love and accept everyone, and many of those people are christian, just as many of these people are Buddhist, Muslim, or even atheist. People as they begin to grow, from birth to death, are subject to many prejudices and mass logical fallacies that they may adopt to their regular behavior. It is the innate goal of the masses, however, to seek understanding and clear, unbiased logic, but that is often deluded with yet, unclear and biased logic, due to general assumptions made of categorized masses (blacks,whites, Christians, atheists, capitalists, socialists, rednecks, hood rats) for the purpose of understanding the behavior and lifestyles of masses. This is why it is dangerous to stereotype, or to even assume things. This is where science comes into play, to get a clear understanding of the nature that people inhabit and what people do and how people do things, this is where the arts come in, to expand the mind's ability to create worlds of better morals and more deep and complex purposes of living. This is where communication comes to play to build links of contact between all corners of the globe and more so everyone may understand each other's needs and goals, so the earth can revolve with a society that is just as harmonic as it's revolutions around the sun.
