Time for diet and exercise!
#21
RE: Time for diet and exercise!
I'm on a long journey to lose about 45 pounds that I never should have gained. Did WC track and road racing as a teen, throughout southern California and beyond. But I dropped it at 18 or so, thinking I'd just carve my own path in life. And I did. But it involved food. And I didn't notice until I was confronted by family at 250 lbs, while 188 was my healthy weight.

I still have a mad crush on good food. I'd marry it if I could. But I do do 2 1h15m classes per week at SDSU of stretching and weights and such. But I'll be seeing a nutritionist soon, probably in a group setting. Food is for sustainence first. It's a bonus to enjoy it. I've been eating the icing, not the cake, so to speak.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

RE: Time for diet and exercise!
Sorry, my last post should read:

Total calories 02/01/2013: 1027.

Today - 03/01/2013: 741. What I should do now is eat something else,as even on a crash diet that's crazy-low! Problem is I'm not really hungry now (after eating dinner).

RE: Time for diet and exercise!
I can't run. LOL, when I was in primary school we used to do a run like 3 days a week, every single time I'd get a stitch, have to slow down, and it's never had anything to do with my fitness level. I could always ride bikes (haven't in a few years now though), or walk for hours on end.

03/01/2013 Final Total: 1273.

RE: Time for diet and exercise!
I had a couple of (one pack of) Nature Valley bars plus a few blackberries at about 4:45am, since I woke up extremely hungry. I also have a breakfast engagement at Subway at about 9am. I suspect I will have a breakfast croissant, probably with ham, swiss, and egg-white. Hopefully that won't bankrupt me too badly.
