For a real challenge, how about knitting up one of these?

I'm getting crochet supplies today.. knitting looks too hard! I guess if someone taught me though..Maybe you could teach a Google group video call of us!? Pleeeeaaaaazzzzzeeeee!!!!
I just wanna make hats. Lots and lots of hats. And baby booties. And baby clothes. and scarves!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I want to do baby shoes and scarves myself. Scarves should be easy, right?

I still say knittinghelp.com is the way to go - they do their videos from the knitter's perspective which is WAY better than what I could improvise with my built-in webcam.

Baby things are SOOOOO satisfying to make - they're pretty quick and they're generally really cute.

Once you get the hang of knitting and can knit "in the round" (on multiple needles which is how you knit hats) and with two colors (stranded knitting or instarsia) than I'll send you the pattern I have for this hat:

It's even cuter when it's on a kid.

Yes, scarves are easy. They should also comprise all ten of your first ten knitting projects. They're great to learn to knit because you learn the two basic stitches through sheer repetition (knitting and purling), you learn to not drop stiches and how to fix them if you do, you can use them to learn stitch patterns, increases, decreases and whatnot... and you generally don't get too heartbroken when you royally screw up and have to start over. :p

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
