You disregarded the batter.

The batter? I am simply saying that until theists prove that this 'god' exists, it is the negative that wins over. It shouldn't even be up to the theists, it should be up to this 'god', it should be the god being questioned, who is obviously leaving his believers behind to fend for themselves with the weak arguments they've got.

You see our arguments weak, God see us as warriors for the faith, for us only what God sees matters. God comes to people and if they do not respond that's on them.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I've been trying to find it recently, but one mind isn't enough to do this. I've been looking for a couple months. That is why I came back from being inactive. However, I've been sidetracked for a while with other threads. I finally paid attention to what I need to do.

Anyways, if you have any ideas on how to take down a theist with a single sentence, please post everything you can think of below.

Sorry - but there will not be that one single one sentence argument
In order for that to exist - one would have to assume that all theists are completely rational - and will consider your statement.

My best effort - normally for woman - is to have THEM read 1 - Timothy 2 - and then have them say they AGREE that they are supposed to be COMPLETELY subservient to men - have no power over any man - and can only be saved by having children

Of course - that won't work with men at all. But since it is normally woman who start the argument - At least I am ahead on that one

RE: Ultimate Argument
Alright, so I guess it's up to you to prove that this god exists. Apparently your god has left you behind. It is up to the person who made the claim to support it, and destroy any critique. Please do that for me.

Ultimate Argument
Faith in something with no physically measurable attributes isn't empirical, and as such it isn't something that can be proven or disproven.

Rather, we should be asking: Why do you believe in something that by definition can't be shown to exist?

Do you still believe in Santa Claus? Why not?

The trouble here is dealing with people who reject any claim without evidence, other than the strongly held belief they've been either indoctrinated or brainwashed into believing.

These are people who can't bear having to make their own decisions, and take responsibility for their own actions and morality, without a surrogate father-figure.

How about "eat lead and die mother fucker"? Of course if you pull the trigger you'll likely go to jail, unless you live in Florida.
