Maybe I'm misunderstanding the new rule but it seems to me that signing up initially would be different than changing your username once established. For instance, in signing up for an account you're not technically changing a user name, you are assigning one to yourself, whereas an established member would already have a username from which they are changing, thus invoking the once-a-year rule. To me it seems that the new member would be able to sign up initially and then would have their once-a-year name change still available if they hate the name they signed up with.

Or does the name-change thing only come into effect once you've used it? For example, if I change my user name on August 12th, do I have to wait until August 12th, 2015 to change my name again, or only until January 1st 2015? Is one change per calendar year or one change per year-from-the-date-you-last-changed-your-username?

Why am I even bothering? I'm not changing my username.... Tongue
