Prince changed his name to a symbol which he claimed was not pronouncable during his fight with Sony over a shit load of money. I would love to get your pronounciation.

I'm named after my father. I wouldn't change that. He's a pretty awesome dude.

I wish I had been named after my mom; my dad wanted me to be named after her (Rebecca) but she had grown up with the childhood nickname of Big Becky because she was the older of two Beckys in the area and didn't want to be Big Becky for the rest of her life. I wouldn't have matter because I would have chosen to go by Becca, thus we'd have a Becky and a Becca and no confusion.

Alas, my mom won the argument and I have a name I hate and Rebecca became my middle name.

I always pretended my name was Kelly when I was a kid, so I guess that.

I think I would go with Longshanks or Sioux. Longshanks has a very impressive sound and I loved the song "The Boy Named Sue" when I was a kid and my dad used to play it for me. Maybe I have an attraction to unusual names as my mom wanted to call me Dax Blue Storm surname. She's an odd woman.

I like my name. If anything I'd change my last name because no one ever understands what I say the first time(which is irritating because it's only 5 letters) so I always have to spell it. Plus my father is a no good piece of fucking shit, so sharing a last name with him makes me sick. And almost his whole side of the family is basically white trash. So there's really no good that comes with it.

At one time I used Atsuko Hayashi as an alias. It took me a bit to realize that if I really wanted to hide my identity, that wasn't a good choice.

I've had plenty of made up names. People who do a whois on me on IRC / chat will now see that my email address is that of Candy Smith. I didn't think long on that. It was just a nonce invention.

I have always had my name mispronounced. Hence the spelling change. Still doesn't help.
