I'd rather eat mini sausages and home made cheese dip while I watch the frakking game!

I'll put in a Chtulhu prayer for you in the beginning though for your Seahawks. Cuz I'm nice!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Ah American football. That game the US invented that no other country plays so that they could be number one in something.
Or "Rugby with added padding" if you prefer.

Yes, the bit about American Football that seems to get overlooked is the word "foot". A small word, commonly found around the house, but one that should make all the difference in the world.

As to whether I'm having a Superbowl party, well if this is what you're referencing:

then hell yeah!
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Super Bowl? That's...now? I don't really care about sports, so no, I won't be having a party.

I got off work early today. A very welcome surprise. I thought for sure I was going to miss the first quarter.

I have been in the geek camp all my life. To me, sports culture represents everything that is wrong with the world. (Okay, not everything. But a lot.) If I'm going to throw a party, it's going to be for when Queen Latifah comes out, Doctor Who gets a female Doctor, or someone finally hires me to work for money.

Meh. My team wasn't in the superbowl anyway, so I didn't really care that much about it. The best part for me would have been the commercials, but I was at work today until about 7:00, so I didn't even get to see the good ones.
