Most call me "tomo" because it's easier than trying to pronounce my full name. (Though it's only one more syllable, so, like, wtf?) On irc / chat I'm called Mth, for much the same reason.

Thank you!

You don't happen to be a Tomoko, do you? It would suit you very well Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Mel, Mellow, Lissa, Missy, Peaches

Blondie, Shortie, Sweetie, Bella

People around here can call me Mel or Missy safely Tongue

I love Line for a name. And Lune

stands for moon, no?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

There's cane training? How difficult could it possibly be to use a cane?

I worked the nightshift in a warehouse for a year before I went to bootcamp. So I was a tall, slender, very pale fellow with black hair. My drill instructor kept calling me a vampire.

I've been called a vampire, too, because I love living in the dark and I used to never eat, sleep, or poop around people. Also, a doctor gave me a false diagnosis for porphyria, which is sometimes known as the "vampire disease" because it involves having weird reactions to sunlight.

Very. The cane must be matched up with your height and the way you walk. There are three different ways to hold the cane properly and you have to figure out which one is best for you. You have to learn how to use your other senses in tandem with the cane. You have to learn to fold it properly so it doesn't snap back and hit you in the face. And you have to be careful that you can doesn't kick back and poke you in the middle (which really hurts). You have to learn to walk through traffic. And how to navigate when there's no sidewalk. Not to mention you have to learn to walk with a guide, something I still have trouble with since I don't really trust people very much.
