Were you gonna join the ghost in shooting down humming birds or something?

Well I seen object move by themselves and a dead bolted door unlock and open right in front of me. Not to mention auditory hallucinations.

My opinion on ghosts and etc is personally the verdict is not as cut and dry. There is skeptical then there is cynical, I honestly believe there is a logical explination. However, that explination will continue to elude us until proper scientific analysis is done beyond the simple fingers in ears and cute little "debunkings".

I like the idea of ghosts and creepy shit like that. I've had a couple strange occurrences that can't really be explained. The coolest explanation is that it's paranormal. But obviously there are logical explanations for everything, whether we happen to know them or not.

Can ghosts exist without god existing?

I think the problem that skeptics make is they are stuck with the wrong definition of ghosts. They being aware of it or not think they are still "undead" spirits. However, there are various other alternatives. Ranging from psychological phenomena unknown to us. Natural occurrences including quantum events or odd cosmological/physical phenomena could be the cause. Perhaps they are beings living in a different level of either light or dimension. All of which are godless explanations. Perhaps consciences can prevail after death as atomic imprints, I dunno talking out my ass. However, if we want the truth we really need to use real scientific method and figure out what these occurrences are….after all things moving by themselves is kinda strange.

Naw, never hummingbirds, only boogie men that live under my bed. Smile

Quote:I took the covers off my head - yes I sleep with the covers over my head - and saw what only I could label as a spectral figure. I was immobile, unable to move due to the immense fear that had overcome my mind and body.

Immobile, eh? That may have been sleep paralysis, sometimes accompanied by terrifying hallucinations.

Also, it may have been possible that you were dreaming later on in the story, and you mistakenly thought you were awake and out of bed. But I'm just speculating.

Yes. Hallucination occurs to weak minded people.
Of course I too have encounters with ghostly images that my brain projected when i was a kid .
But now I simply cannot believe that people are wasting their time thinking and scaring themselves off. There are lots of important things in your life than ghost. Ofcourse everyone gets scared..
1.So, when i get scared i prioritize my problems like money/exams/seminars and stuff. Which will divert our thoughts to more important matters.
2. Since most of the ghost are girls/women. So when they appear even if you try to control your brain then get ready to have fun. If you know what I meanBig Grin
