I don't know where I'd rate on the sexy scale. I'm pretty slender (around 115lbs), have tits (32DD), and my hair is pretty awesome. But I sometimes kinda look goofy to myself without my hat and glasses on. My hands and feet are tiny and I am about average height. So yeah, I'll just say I'm a pretty average person on the sexy scale. Not grotesque but not beautiful.

My natural hair is just a fluff ball comb-able but the color is off it's not quite black but it's not brown and likes to streak red a lot

You are the only yardstick you should ever hold yourself too, and one day you will be somebody else's 20 because they will define perfection by how much it is like 'laing.

I used to do track and field and road racing as a kid. I was a solid 15, even as a gimp. But I ended that at adulthood, but remained on way too good terms with food, so my belly grew, and my abs went away. Were it not for that, everything would still be passable. 10/20.

This kind of reinforcement has also made me supremely uncomfortable when people tell me I'm pretty. It makes me 1) not believe them and 2) think they're trying to get something from me by buttering me up. I had an ex-boyfriend who kept insisting that I was pretty to the point that it made me cry because he kept lying to me

That's a real shame, because he almost certainly wasn't!

I think most of my self-confidence issues come from not looking like the rest of my family. They are all this lovely smooth shade of red brown, with lots of long glossy black hair (no straightener required sigh), and big brown eyes. My brother always says I fell off the back of a gypsy cart. Mom just says I look like great grana which is where they get the hair, and I get my nose. I don't look like my father even a little, a very dark skinned Cuban. Mum thinks I have his ears and eyebrows.

That's a real shame, because he almost certainly wasn't!

I think he meant well, but that's my perception of what was going on. When you suddenly get an onslaught of something you've hardly ever been told about yourself it's disconcerting and my first reaction is to be suspicious. It's kind of like when you're feeling down and a friend tells you a white lie to make you feel better and then all your other friends pile on - you might believe the first friend, but then this tidal wave of compliments bowls you over and you get suspicious that they're just lying to you to make you feel better. That's kind of like what I felt was going on but it was all coming from one person.
