I agree that there is no point in pursuing the issue with the local paper.
I do not agree that our local residents know that the rev. is dead, as he has no connection with this area, and lived about 150 miles away in N.Wales (a long way in the UK). His article was plucked from his web page.
I want to ask about the bigger fish you refer to? It is not within my power to address The Archbishop of Canterbury. I might be able to make a difference though at the local level, by writing letters to my local newspaper (though it is increasingly unlikely they would print them).
