It's amazing too that they try to remind liberals that it was the Republican party that ended slavery. What a fundamental misunderstanding of how history has transformed the parties' agendas time and time again. Reality dictates that if slavery were an issue in today's world, that the Democratic party would be the front runner in abolishing such a despicable practice.
