It just said Path and I pasted the path way at the end as per the instructions still doesnt work.

At some point in the past I seem to have installed the JRE instead of the JDK and it wont seem to recognise the JDK preferring the JRE, which is a pain coz i need to use the JDK. Just glad I have a windows 8 laptop I can use.
