How DOES the GOP do it? (part II)

RE: How DOES the GOP do it? (part II)
Last I heard from one of my Tea Party co-workers is that the far right fringe groups are gathering evidence of a rigged election back in 2012 (he, of course, wholeheartedly agrees with them on this piece of conspiracy bull dookie). There are *gasp* YouTube videos of this shite! The jig is up, y'all!

You got it, Ryan.

I only wish that Obama was 1/4 of the socialist boogeyman that the republicunts claim he is.

I think they do know, but don't want to say it out loud. Obama isn't the reason, but is the lightning rod for vented frustration. The GOP is going through the first convulsions that will result in the jettison of the Christian right as a part of the voting block that must be catered to.

I have no idea how many election cycles it will take, but the result will be an updated GOP that leans libertarian, pulling the GOP towards the center. The GOP will still have the same spoken but unpracticed 'fewer taxes/smaller government' mantra, but will rid itself of the social conservative bullshit.

Does the GOP hate Obama because he's projecting weakness, he won't stand up to anyone, he's wearing "mom jeans" (nice, and the GOP has no idea why people say they're sexist) and dictators know they can take advantage of him?

Or does the GOP hate Obama because he's an iron-fisted tyrant who lawlessly rules by executive fiat and is getting ready to confiscate all our guns and send us all to FEMA camps?

Uh? Can it be because the GOP is not a single person and is in fact multiple people with multiple opinions?

That's why their pundits are all regurgitating the same, tired shit, right? That's why they all flip flop at exactly the same moments, right? Fact is, it's multiple people with one agenda.

An argument I would find most persuasive if it weren't for the fact that the same pundits can make both contradictory stances, sometimes in mid speech.

I recall Bill Maher commenting: "You don't have to be a racist to be a republican....but if you are a racist, you are a republican."

I recall hearing that as well and thinking that it can only be true if you believe that only white people are racists. I really doubt that the black panthers or mexican racists are republican.

The current pundits are a symptom of the problem and will also be jettisoned. It's already started, Hannity was bumped to 10pm. Many may think this insignificant, but it's a start. Linbaugh's audience is aging and the younger ones are marginalized.

I don't mind some conservative pundits, even if I don't agree with them at times. Some examples are George Will, Charles Krauthammer, and Thomas Sowell. At times I genuinely miss Willaim F. Buckley, he challenged me; whereas, the likes of O'Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh and Beck can easily be swatted away intellectually.

The same can be said for the left. I will take Krugman, Friedman, Stewart and Barro while I disdain the likes of Maddow and Schultz.

For what it's worth, some of my ex-inlaws are pretty racist, any they're union-card carrying northern Democrats.

People of all stripes can be quite irrational.
