Is christmas really about christianity anymore though? Last time I checked getting presents, stuffing your face with food and being bombarded with christmas adverts was more important than Jesus.

Is christmas really about christianity anymore though? Last time I checked getting presents, stuffing your face with food and being bombarded with christmas adverts was more important than Jesus.

I can agree that it's not about that anymore but I would still hear from certain religious people that you still must thank Jesus for all the gifts and food you got. I mean really? Because it totally wasn't them that got up early to go to the stores to buy gifts for the people they love or for themselves.
