Do you take antidepressants?

Are you or have you been on an antidepressant medication that helped?
I'm on celexa 40mg. Sometimes it seems to be helpful. Wellbutrin made me miserable. I hate that shit!
I've taken prozac, serzone, and effexor. However, I was usually adding drug and alcohol abuse to it so it's hard to know how much good it did.
I also take 200mg sometimes 300mg of Seroquel (antipsychotic) at night and Lamictal (Anticonvulsant Bipolar medication) It seems to be helping.

I'm currently on Amitriptylene 10 mg. I used to be on Viibryd, but 10 mg of that had no effect whatsoever and 20 mg made it impossible for me to stay upright.

Never heard of it. Is it a tricyclic, MAO, SNRI, SSRI, or Antipsychotic?

Seroxat 30mg and it has definitely helped me. I still get occasional bouts of dark days, but they are more manageable and I don't get any side effects, which of course is very nice.

Oh Paxil! Got it! Yeah I've been on that. Good stuff for social phobia/anxiety as well!

My experience is that Wellbutrin is bad shit in my experience. I'd recommend telling your Doctor you would like to get off Wellbutrin and increase the paxil or get on some other SSRI SSNRI that treats depression.
If it was me that's what I'd do. But maybe it doesn't have a bad effect on you so if that's the case ignore my advice.

No. I have never considered them. If anyone would hear that I, the examplary, stout, iron-faced Mehmet, took anti-depressants, they surely would lose morale.
