Yeah, heights. As I said in another thread concerning this, I don't freak out when up high, but my legs buckle under me and feel really uncomfortable.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I've never been overly keen on black dogs (yeah I'm a huge dog racist) as I was bitten three times as a kid, each time by a black dog.
Also, the omen.

A golden retriever or dulux dog or something? No worries. Just them large enough black dogs.
Nemo me impune lacessit.

Oh my, you would have shat your pants, if you were in my position a handful of days ago. My neighbours came home, when I was going away, with their behemoth of a black German shepherd mix, who looked at me, came a little closer and gave a massive bark. I just said hi back to him, when the embarrassed owners caught up with the dog. They apologized profoundly for having him off the leash in the stairwell, but I just said it wasn't a problem, since I'm not afraid of dogs.

I have a terrible fear of confinement, it's not really claustrophobia per se as it's not debilitating, but it's somewhat irksome quite often.

Mine is spiders. Especially if they're black. And inside. If they're outside I only really freak out if I walk into a web or find one crawling on me - outside is their territory. Inside is mine. They can stay outside.

I'm slowly improving on my ability to handle them on my own. I used to have to stand across the room and throw heavy things at the wall hoping to hit and squish the spider. Or I would have to suck it up with the vacuum hose and then put the vacuum as far from my bedroom as possible.

I've progressed to the point where I can squish the little, itty bitty ones, but there is a very specific size limitation to what I can handle.

I am certain fear of them is not quite so irrational, especially given their fundamentalist jihad mentality whereby everyone should submit to them or die.
