Easter Dinner
#11
RE: Easter Dinner
Well Easter is huge over here (bigger than Christmas) and I will be come the end of it.

Lamb - on a spit. A whole lamb. Lots of family. Serious eating. I love lamb. There'll be a few "Christos Anesti" (Christ is risen) greetings and there's a risk of being dragged off to Church, but.....there's lamb!

Did I mention the lamb?

Lamb is delicious. The best lamb I ever had was in Israel. They know how to cook that shit.

Pot? Pot? We ain't smoking the stuff.

Basically a huge barbecue in the garden with a whole lamb rotating slowly over the heat - for about 4 hours.

Nothing better on this planet.

The lamb sounds good!

The Greeks sure know how to have a family party..... Must be a Mediterranean thing.
Enjoy!

Greek!? (obviously) Lol..we do the same (lamb..whole lamb lol) here except its my family in a small town in the states...in our back yard Tongue the neighbours have finally stopped thinking we are weird and just come to join us. No lamb for me though as I'm a vegetarian.

At least my family has stopped dragging me to the church every year. Now I just 'have' to go for the Greek festival Tongue Enjoy!
