I'd suggest putting up a thread in the introductions section so everyone can say hi, if you plan on hanging around.

I don't plan to hang around, sorry, I just thought it might be helpful to present a secular explanation for what happened to the OP. I'm not actually an atheist but neither do I approve of many things that go on in the church, including the OP's experience. The more people who know about this stuff, the better - knowledge is power.

Well..I mean if you honestly think you have something that nobody here has heard or put forth in the 2 and a half years since this thread died, nobody can stop you. But shit-and-run posters generally aren't looked to well upon around here.

Well, I have done a quick search and couldn't find anything here, and no-one gave the OP a substantial reply. But I did ask if people would be interested, and if you are not, then I will go away. I'm just looking to present something that not many people seem to know about, in the hope it will do some good.

Start a new thread and imply away. I love to argue!
"Churches are becoming political organizations... It probably will not be long until the churches will divide as sharply upon political, as upon theological questions; and when that day comes, if there are not liberals enough to hold the balance of power, this Government will be destroyed. The liberty of man is not safe in the hands of any church." R. Ingersoll
