If judged about ordering eggs the same always...
What if the same-ordering-always for say a few times leads to getting a cook to comply with requesting such as "no brown-ness" and "OVER EASY-SOFT scramble" or for an omlet,,, until it arrives as ordered some day? - without having to go through all "SEND IT BACK, GIMME WHAT I ORDERED" thing...

ah it is a varied judgement in psychoanalysis of why one may always order the same; how long might be another indicator of what one was about when ordering...

What if at home is different than ordered out or ordered when asked at a relatives or friends, and the onlooker's view is in only one of those venues?

I should get you to talk to my friend, so she gets off my back about my egg preference! AngryBig Grin

Perhaps we ought to be?

See, we understand why it's called black pudding. Pudding? Yum! Who doesn't love pudding? (futile, go ahead and put your hand down). Call it "blood sausage" and the stuff sells less spectacularly well, I think - no matter how delicious it may be.

So this "King of Puddings" stuff - if UK food nomenclature history is any guide - almost has to be made from poop.

Boru

wait. oatmeal and spices mixed with the pork? hmmm

haha banana pudding is yummy. i also love bread pudding, when prepared right. but puddings that are for 'dinner,' kind of make me pause. lol

I have a friend who dislikes eggs. Same reason. I don't like them pickled, though. How about an omelette?

Boru

Defender of the puddings. lol
Tried that too! My point is I've tried it every way imaginable including green eggs and ham and yet "I do not like them Sam I am!"

Scrapple. Not sure I've ever had that. Do you make this yourself?

Scrapple is only the most delicious use of pork scraps and offal that the world has ever known. Parts is parts.

This brought a tear to my eye. :`-(

Ode to Scrapple - by Dave Bonta

Sing scrapple: buckwheat-
& cornmeal mush-stuffed
relative of head cheese,
the hog’s gray matter.
Plus every part
that couldn’t be cured
into ham or crammed
into sausage casings —
some good foot meat, perhaps,
a corkscrew piece of tail —
up to & including
the oleaginous grunt.
Always the butt of jokes
for the ignorant mass
of weiner-eaters who prefer
their pig scraps pink
& prefitted for the throat.
This is a square meal
the color of earth.
It’s what’s for supper
when you haven’t eaten
since breakfast, & want
something you can
slap in the hot
fat of a griddle & fry
until it grows a thick
brown skin. Then
serve with Grade-A
maple syrup, go hog-
wild, wallow in the gray
& gritty mush.

"Oleaginous grunt", that's some funny shit right there. Big Grin
