Why is god hiding?

He's not hiding. He just doesn't give enough of a fuck about you to come around and see you.

He is not "hiding", he is "hidden". "Hiding" implies that he for some reason wants to be doing so. The fact that it is not the case that he just pops up for every single person so they know for sure they exists is supposed to just be an attribute of god, having nothing to do with god's will.
Apparently, He is hiding so you would look for Him.
Maybe He never grew out of "Hide and seek". Hey, I seem to remember some words that went like that.......... Seek and you shall find? This post got me to go back in time.
What little kid doesn't like "Hide and seek"? When there is nothing to play with- "Let's play Hide" Doesn't matter where. Maybe there is something back there we might want to retrieve. Maybe make it a game. Regress a bit to those far back days. Oh and Futile, I seem to remember we were made in Someone's image. Anyone for a game? |
