Has anyone been watching the new re-booted series of Carl Sagan's Cosmos with NDT and if so..

What do you think of it, especially if like me, you are a complete nut for the original and..

What sort of reception has it had in the States where I believe you have a large backward religious community?

I have been avoiding television lately in order to focus on my writing.

Pretty sure that 90% of the people that will see this post will be people who have been watching Cosmos with NDT.

This is because NDT is a well-known atheist who is intellectually admirable, and Cosmos is a thing that atheists would be interested in.

And the first version of "Cosmos" had the guy that made space travel INTERESTING enough that it actually caused more people to decide to go to space.

I haven't been watching it. Maybe I should. I don't know.

I've been watching it and loving it. The science os pretty basic stuff, but NDT is taking jabs at the goddidit crowd at the appropriate times.

Like Saga, deGrasse Tyson's main goal seems to be to get people excited about science again.

It's soooo legit! It's got a good bit of history, too, which I love!
It's taking it's fair share of subtle stabs at creati-tards too.

Can't wait for the next episode Smile

It's kind of sad when you have to work towards getting people excited about science.
