I usually have a bottle of Chipotle Tabasco at home, for when I need that smokey taste in something. I prefer habaneros on the other hand, since the taste is.. cleaner(?), so it works better in my style of cooking. And kudos to your 18-month-old, that's one peppery kid! My nephews have fortunately been introduced to chili at an early age, so when I babysat them last and by accident threw in a little bit more chili than I would have wanted to, they didn't seem to notice and all of them had seconds! When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

With what, equal parts chipotle and pepper? :p
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

That can still be true!

Don't say that.

This is an atheist forum and many people will stop believing in you.

I am not the kind of deity that requires faith. If you need proof of me I generally just post an inappropriate picture if myself as evidence Wink

Thanks!
I find the fresh kind is much hotter than the canned. Especially if you don't remove the seeds. I put loads of the pickled kind in burritos, they taste really good.

If anyone thinks my recipe is too tame: just add whatever chilis in whatever amount you like. (I wouldn't skip the chipotle though) The important parts are the aromatics.

Are you finnish?

Half a bulb of garlic + beans. Wow. My emissions of gas would lead to a runaway greenhouse effect in hours.

I cut the end off and swipe out the seeds and veins with a potato peeler.

Oh, I use the whole fruit, though not the stem. Seeds and all in, I say! Tongue
