Near death experiences
#11
RE: Near death experiences
At 17, I was caught in the Remembrance Day bombing in Enniskillen. It took high transfusions and more than a little luck to get me through. I was told I 'coded' twice - no experiences to speak of.

Since then, nothing life threatening - been stabbed once, beaten up several times, and a few motorbike crashes (I feel your pain, Beccs).

These days, I try to risk nothing more serious than splinters and paper cuts.

I was mountain climbing and I fell thru a large opening in the rock, got my leg caught and was stuck there for 4 days.. I was finally rescused. All that time being stuck there I would say to myself.... Oh no, not I. I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive I've got all my life to live I've got all my love to give and I'll survive
I will survive,
I will survive!

Family members are always honest with eachother Wink

Especially at AF!

BTW i didn't get my cell phone case cuz the mall didn't seem to have the proper store but didn't look hard or ask around cuz I remembered someone gave me two wal mart gift cards that I need to use up and Wally World is likely cheaper.

So, almost resorted to wheelchair porn for nothin!

Ice climbing in Scotland, ended up hanging by one ice axe over a 300 foot drop, no ropes (my own stupid fault, should have known better!) not a good feeling!

Yabut, I lost my virginity on a church youth group ski trip. So, there's that.

I experienced the 'little death'.

I had it and it was like sleeping. No memories. No thoughts. Nothing.
