That is true, you are very correct BUT, I am referring to Other non-reputable sources such as USDA which is in bed with the meat, dairy, and egg industries (proven in law suit against government for such instance, the USDA was sued and LOST) I call that reference out later if required.

But Harvard sets an Exemplary standard of education even world wide.

University Rankings - World Wide 2013-2014

The rest of the country I am afraid is not so great. But never the less there are always exceptions to the rule.

Wait!

My university is number 91?

So just who is backing the vegan industry?

Glad you asked, there are many people within the society that are not vegan, which is oddly shocking, somewhat some believe entirely in the backing of the information but still choose to eat meat, others are medical personal who know the benefits of the diet vs meat others may be vegetarian. Smile

It really is a mix, for example, I know many people who are are backing of Veganism 100% but do not partake themselves. But that is my personal contacts of course so won't hold much weight with you.

But not only Vegan Society, there are non-vegan sources at which claim the benefits of Vegan diets.

I prefer the stupid Muslim comments. But what I like about the christian ones are that he invites popular atheists to be speakers of the questions.

You missed my point, so I'll restate it. Her experience is irrelevant (partly because she's changed her own story), the fact is that people listen to her "advice" for which she is unqualified to give. Like most "ethical vegans" she refuses to discuss or defend the unqualified advice that she gives. In one of her Youtube videos she claims that because the body makes cholesterol we don't need to eat any - I wrote a short comment that basically said this:

"Bad advice - at 0:00 you claim that we don't need to eat any cholesterol, but this is not the advice of professionals, here are two links:"

And I had two links. Here is one of them.

And I can't be brothered finding the other one at the moment, but it was by a doctor. Not surprisingly really, my comment was deleted. I said nothing else about 80:10:10 nor about veganism, nor about the dangers of low-cholesterol.

FYI as the link above points out, there's no such thing as "bad cholesterol".
Quote:A side note on the matter do you find it interesting that "we simply don't know the long term negative effects" of fruits and vegetables yet the "normal" dietary lifestyle meat, milk, etc. has well documented negative ill-effects in the long run.

For example:
Quote: data indicate that higher consumption of total red meat, especially various processed meats, may increase risk of developing type 2 diabetes

-American Diabetes Association
No I don't, and I'll quote what Daniel Vitalis says about that - if you proved to me that breathing less oxygen is good for my health that would be one thing, but from that it's a giant leap to then try and claim that breathing no oxygen at all would be better for my health.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke

RE: So U think Vegan is healthy?
Diets, vegetarianism and veganism a clever, conscious ploy by foreign powers to stop the continuation the Turkish nation.
The main purpose is to turn our massive and brave ancestors who could eat a sheep in one sitting, and our women who would give birth in the fields, put the baby in the swaddle and continue their work, into weaklings that count calories, feel sick after a sneeze, that do fitness and aerobics, and turn our people into a weak and frail race like the Chinese.
Can there be a greater genocide than to turn a brave man who would load a 240 kg shell into a gun with his hands, into a snob that counts calories and denies kebab with yoghurt?

The saying that internal fats, the fat of the tail of the animals are causes for cholesterol is false. Cholesterol is merely a state of gas that after eating kebabs, can be cured with drinking two bottles of mineral water. We will not fall for this plot.
Turkish girls are being fooled under the guise of feminism, women's rights, environmental consciousness and equality, and turned into girls who cannot cook, those who would raise their children, our future, with junk food, that lack taste, and think that diet biscuits that look like chipboards are actually food.

In addition to this, the damned foreign powers have taught our girls to insult our braves who eat kebabs, onions, chikoftes and similar delicacies, those who drink shalgam glass by glass, with derogatory terms. Besides, despite the fact that it is shown as being hip, there is no such thing as Chinese cuisine. This so-called cuisine is nothing more than the collection of outlandish vegetables and outlandish critters being thrown into a saucepan called a wog, and are fed to people half-cooked an half raw, via sticks just to torment them further. We will not eat, and we will not fall for this. We will eat kebabs, braised liver, doner, whole chickens, borek, tripe soup, kurufasulye-pilav, beyran, and baklavas.

Never forget!
