In my experience a lot of people probably wouldn't. The internet is full of a lot of shy people in my experience.... (that also applies to those who don't come across as such online Wink).

Yet I've also seen the exact opposite. Not here particularly; but, I've seen people post things they would never say if sitting next to the person for fear of getting a beat down.

Well that's what I'm trying to say.... some of us are shy online but we express the opposite because we feel safer on the net....

Others don't feel safe on the net (or they don't feel safe sharing particular information(s)) and they feel more safe offline.

I mean I've always been a very shy person but I'm certainly not that way on the net.... but then I have noticed many people who are really shy about the internet and I think "Why? It's up to you what information you share".... different personality I guess.

Not personality by my count, I can't expess everything on the net I'd like to because my job and livelyhood could be forfeit. However I'm as open as I can possibly be without incrimination. I am slightly more "open book" in person, however I think I'm just as respectful on the net as off. I wouldn't say anything on the net I wouldn't say to your face, and I try not to let anonymity serve as a shield. Total freedom of speech though is counter-intuitive to civility and I'd rather be more civil than loud.

There are some things I wouldn't express on the net to just anyone out of common sense, of course.

But I feel I can truly be myself on the net. Others may find it the other way around you see!

I'm getting more and more like I am on the net when I'm NOT on the net... which I think is cool because I prefer what I'm like on the net Tongue Because it's me when I'm my happiest and with the most energy (and also chilled out Wink)Tongue Big Grin

cool, you seem pretty "chill" and our true selves are what each of us should strive for. That's what scares me the most about all the hate speech and increasing disregard for other people on the net. Is this their true self or just a pissing/popularity contest?

Our true self when we're in which mood though? Wink

Mood should have little to no affect on what we define as our own personal core beliefs just teh actions we take based off of them.

Well I think our mood effects us and also - vice versa. 'we' effect our mood.

And I think this is all controlled by our beliefs.

I see my beliefs and differnt switches I either believe or don't on many different switches relating to say.... sex. However they are either on or off and it takes a mojrity of them to turn off the lights. I don't think my mood affects which switches I've labeled, possibly on a rare instance just the one's I've flipped.

-ps I'm stalking you.. and I'm tired almost time to go home...

Stalking me? Lol wtf lmfao

I don't think we have moods and they have no effect whatsoever... I think they of course must effect us... It's just that they effect us a lot less than beliefs because moods tend to be a lot more temporary... and all beliefs do change - they don't change as frequently as moods. Big Grin
